This one’s gonna be short and sweet because my shoulder is hurting medium bad and I really don’t want to deal with too much typing. Just, like, a mindful smidgen of typing.

Doll clothes!

The overalls I was making before didn’t quite work out so I made this shirt and pants set instead. The shirt is quite translucent and so I needed to do a ton of very very careful seam finishing. I am immensely pleased with myself for doing this properly and not getting lazy on it. The seams are fiddly as hell but there’s not terribly many of them in the long run. I want to make myself a similar shirt in the same pattern. I’ve got a decent amount of this fabric.

I bought the doll patterns but I patterned all of these clothes myself.

I did a lot of work on a third doll, trying to play with body type, and got frustrated enough to scrap the project entirely. For now. I’m calling this series Pareidollia :3

Ok and then I picked this old felt dragon project back up, because i’m going to my first renn fayre this next weekend and i want it for sitting on my & my partners’ shoulders.

we’ve got a little chain harness whipped up for connecting to someone’s shirt or necklace or whatever, so if it falls of a shoulder it won’t get lost or dirty on the ground. And then, some work on head and tail frills.

and a little tongue, which is very important

also at some point i drew this mermaid, which i might try to color eventually

life is sweet sometimes.
